ARTESAN – is an exclusive slow-fashion brand which launched their debut ‘Patois Collection’ of one-off pieces in Autumn 2019. Created from deconstructed vintage – the patina of used material is redesigned and integrated with heritage African crafts to create a unique, gender-neutral range of utilitarian garments.
With sustainability in mind, Artesan celebrates responsible recycling of materials, traditional handicrafts and modern designs and does not follow the traditional seasonal fashion model. Instead, they create permanent collections to which new items of handcrafted one-offs are ‘micro-dropped’ throughout the year. Each piece is repeatable to order, but always different.
