Developed by Founder Abi Reid, who during lockdown decided to embrace her natural wavy hair. However, she found that most off the shelf products were for curly rather than wavy hair and contained too many heavy and harmful ingredients, causing her wavy hair to be weighed down and stripped of natural oils, causing frizz and damage. So, after deciding to create her own products and after months of research and testing, Merwave was born – with 5 lightweight products; free-from sulphates, silicones and parabens, and not tested on animals.
